SERDANG 19 Jan 2024 - To better serve the demands of the public sector, 5S Practices was rebranded as EKSA, or Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem. This strategy aligns with enhancing the business image and organizational excellence culture while fostering creative and innovative ideas and actions.
The EKSA Committee of the Internal Audit Division has invited two EKSA Auditors (external assessors), namely Mrs. Noorhayati Fazlul Haque from Putra Science Park and Mrs. Nudia Che Man from the Bursar's Office, to perform an assessment on the level of commitment and implementation of EKSA among Internal Audit staff in order to align with a creative and innovative level of culture among UPM's Internal Audit staff.
The Head of Internal Audit, Mrs. Zainora Abdul Talib, gave a presentation in the Internal Audit Division meeting room about the implementation of EKSA, which kicked off the External Evaluation of EKSA. The assessment was conducted from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm in the Internal Audit Division's location. Evaluations were conducted in order to determine scores, and the Internal Audit Division's score in this external evaluation session was 99.05% overall, meeting UPM's EKSA requirements.
With the utmost gratitude and appreciation for the evaluation performed by the designated auditors and UPM Internal Audit Division members, who consistently demonstrate their commitment to and full support of the EKSA implementation process. They also occasionally actively incorporate the EKSA environment into their daily tasks while upholding the UPM motto, "With Knowledge We Serve."
